We are so pleased to welcome yet another new artist to the label! This time a producer, who we, like many others admire. He is one of those stand out producers, who knows no bounds. Crossing genres with ease, while stamping his now trademark sound as he does. The one and only Scott Diaz! Not only he is a producer to be admired for his technical ability in the studio but he is also an amazingly versatile DJ and a great person, who really does give back to the music community. He has already worked with many the greats, the likes of Tuff & Jam aka Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont and Karl ‘Tuff Enuff’ Brown and has knowledge and accomplishments way beyond his years. He is no new comer and has been creating his sound for over 20 years culminating with him launching his Grand Plans label for choice releases by himself. To add to his catalogue on labels like Defected, Nervous, Sub Urban, Large Music, Soulfuric, Simma Black DVINE Sounds & Kerri Chandlers Kaoz label.

Scott has been someone we had on the list of ‘would love to get’ remixers, so we were thrilled when he agreed to join us. His remix of Dangerous by Pat Bedeau & the wonderful Hannah Khemoh, was a favourite of theirs, so entrusting Scott to Reinterpret the song was not a risk and it turned out to be a master stroke. Scott twisted this soulful groove into a two step sounding roller, matching Hannah’s powerful vocal with a garage led bass line. He takes the track down a new lane and we just love it. As if that wasn’t enough, he even created a dub version purely for the dance floor. We went all out and got the scientist that is Atjazz aka Martin Iveson to master this beauty to make sure it was well polished and presented, as it should be.

We present the Scott Diaz remix of Dangerous on Bedfunk.
