Bedfunk are extremely pleased to welcome a new remixer to the label introducing Ross Couch.
We have had our eye on this guy for a long time and are so happy we found the perfect track for Ross to work his magic on with Feel The Music, Pat Bedeau featuring Leon Dorrill. We have always wanted to get this track remixed as it was one of the first tracks we released on the label and we felt the message is still true to our ethos. Leon’s vocals are sublime and at Bedfunk we do Feel The Music and we hope you do too. When Ross picked this one, we were very happy.
Ross has been consistently releasing the finest quality house and lots end up in Pat Bedeau’s record bag. You can set you watch by his releases on his Body Rhythm label, he has put out over 200 hundred quality releases. He is regularly featured on some of the largest playlists. He has remixed For Joey Negro, The Sunburst Band, Ramus Faber and our friend Richard Earnshaw amongst others, so we are in great company.
Ross has outdone himself and turned out a slamming remix of top quality. Bringing this track to a peak time groover. Shuffling drums and Ross’s trademark smooth chord stabs set the tone and the bass line delivers that dance floor bounce. His two decades of experience comes into practice as he effortlessly puts his spin on the song with tasteful flourishes and his impeccable production style. We could not be happier with the results and we will surely be asking him to work his magic on some more of our catalogue. This feels like the start of a beautiful relationship and we are so happy to have Ross join the Bedfunk family.
