Just House & Bedfunk team up to bring you a night of Pure House music. Introducing Grant Nelson. The man who needs no introduction to any credible house music lover, but just in case you don’t know, let’s get to know.
Grant Nelson is a DJ, Producer, remixer, multiple label owner and more recently runs DE3P radio.
Grant Nelson is one of the key producers and founding fathers of the UK scene. So much so he has being hailed as The Godfather of UK Garage, He has had much chart success including a dance number one with Right Before Your Eyes and many top 10 dance hits as well as UK chart positions. He has even graced your screens on Top Of The Pops. He has also produced under many guises, most famously Wishdokta, Bump & Flex and N’n’G.
As a remixer, he has remixed the likes of James Brown, Jamiroquai, Basement Jaxx, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Masters At Work, Jonas Blue, the list goes on. He has well over 500 remixes to his name and many ground breaking original productions to boot.
As a DJ he is considered as a DJ’s DJ with remarkable technical abilities and is a true turntableist, rocking accapella’s over instrumentals and dubplates and creating a memorable live experience.
DE3P radio is one of the most respected radio stations with a high calibre rosta of DJ’s many producers in their own right and has built up a loyal band of followers in the short few years it has been running.
We are proud to be bringing such a Don to Milton Keynes for the first time and to support Grant we have one of London’s finest DJ’s who just happens to be female as well.
DJ Lady T is a regular on the London Underground dance scene and has played so many of the top parties Including Groove Odyssey, Backto95, Stush and can regularly be seen behind the decks at tops clubs like Minsitry Of Sound and all across Europe at many events.
She is probably best known for her long running Show on London’s House FM. The station has been running since 2001 and Lady T’s show is one of the longest running on the station, she has helped shape the underground London sound and still does to this day with her weekly show, Saturdays 12-2pm.
She is still passionate about the music she plays and regularly champions new music. She has been a big supporter of the Bedfunk releases from the start and has helped establish the label as one of the finest upcoming underground Soulful labels, Lady T we salute you! We can’t wait for her to show you her swag behind the decks, the perfect set up for the man like Grant Nelson.
We also have 2 of the finest vocalists in the UK coming to perform some of their tracks.
Introducing Hannah Khemoh, Hannah is a powerhouse of a vocalist. One half of the Group Hanlei who as well as their own success with hits like Diamonds. They also toured with her royal highness miss Grace jones for many years as her backing singers, just to give you an idea of the calibre of singer Hannah is. More recently she has sung for Josh Milan of Blaze on his solo project and alongside Dawn Tallman at the last Southport Weekender. We can’t wait for the her to perform her hit The One and some new unreleased heat.
Also we have for you Anna-Marie Johnson, Anna-Marie has been around the Soul scene for a long time. She has preformed with Driza Bone and has had success Rhemi Music releasing 2 singles with them on their self named label. More recently she has been working with Pat Bedeau on our Bedfunk label and has released Missing You, which was one of her most popular songs to date and a hit with the DJ’s, followed up with their Cover of My Life. Both reaching the top 20 of the Traxsource Soulful charts. She is also a great live performer with many years experience in numerous soul bands and live performances. Her voice is simply beautiful, we can’t wait for you to hear her.

Just House owner and resident DJ Andy Black. Andy has been around the MK scene and has been DJ’ing promoting for many years, he has also played virtually every venue In MK for many of the most respected nights. He most recently ran the Classic House nights at UNIT which kept us dancing through the pndemic (When we were allowed) He will be warming up the place for you, using his many years experience to set the tone perfectly for what’s to come.

As a producer he has been building his name with releases on Quantize, Hed Kandi, Atjazz Record Company, Rhemi Music, New York’s seminal label Nervous Records as well as his own imprint Bedfunk. He has been consistently releasing quality house music that has well supported on radio, including BBC radio plays and interviews and supported by some of the biggest DJ’s in the game.
As a DJ Pat has been DJ’ing for well over 20 years, but mainly outside of his home City spreading his love of Soulful house, he has taken his sound around the globe and played as far afield as Burning Man in the Nevada desert, Amsterdam, Ibiza, Mumbai, Prague, Portugal. Expect him to take the level up with a mix of his own productions as well as well picked closers he’s famous for and the end with a bang on what will sure to be an epic night of Just House.
