Pat Bedeau is back again this time teaming up with the very soulful Anna-Marie Johnson, who he teamed up with to produce their first collaboration Missing You, which received massive radio and DJ support from the likes of CJ MacIntosh, Soul Dynamic, The Journeymen, Booker T, DJ Romain, Lars Behrenroth, Lady T and Wez Whynt & BBC Introducing.
This time to cover the underground house hit My Life, first released over 20 years ago. We felt it was time for the Bedfunk treatment for this classic and to give it a soulful makeover. The song was perfectly suited to Anna-Marie vocals and she makes the song her own with her imitable style and warm tone.
Bedfunk has launched a slew of original music and introduced many fresh talents to the soulful House scene and will continue to do so, but we felt it was time to spread our wings and delve into some of our favourite classic tunes that the newer generation of house heads may not be aware of and give the songs the Bedfunk touch.
Already receiving great DJ feedback and championed by The Journey Men in several of their sets at Suncebeat Festival in Croatia, this one is sure to be a Summer favourite.
