Hailing from West London, a vibrant hub of musical talent, Ziggy is a multi-instrumentalist and Ugandan-born musician, producer, and DJ who embodies creativity and skill.
Ziggy made a significant impact on the house music scene with his breakout hit “Everyday,” featuring Taliwa, released on Foliage Records. This track was later remixed by renowned French producer Yass, elevating it to new heights. As a producer, Ziggy has collaborated with prominent labels including Defected, Soul Heaven, Tony Records, Limestone Recordings, Room Control Records, MN2S, and Rhemi Music, which he co-founded.
His recent work on “Missing You” presented an opportunity to explore a more musical direction, and who better to lead this endeavor than Ziggy? We encouraged his creative freedom, and the result is a remix that we are thrilled with. We anticipate more Ziggy Funk remixes in the future, and we are proud to present the Ziggy Funk remix of “Missing You.”
Since her appearance on “Missing You,” Anna-Marie has soared to new heights, achieving multiple number one hits on Traxsource and collaborating with some of the most esteemed labels and producers in our industry. Her sultry, jazzy vocals have been a fantastic addition to the Bedfunk roster. Anna-Marie co-wrote the chart-topping track “Special Kind Of Love” with label head Pat Bedeau, and they continue to collaborate on exciting new projects set for release in 2025.
A bit of background on “Missing You”: the song was composed as a tribute to one of Pat’s close friends who passed away unexpectedly. It serves as a heartfelt homage to all those experiencing loss and longing for their loved ones. Ziggy’s remix brings a sense of hope and uplift, featuring exquisite instrumentation, harmonies, bass, strings, and outstanding musicianship.
Bedfunk is immensely proud to present this poignant track that we hope will aid in the healing process for those missing their loved ones.
