Bedfunk are very pleased to welcome another new artist to the roster. A producer who goes by the name of Ralph Session. Ralph Session aka Ralph Rodriguez is Brooklyn native currently residing in Barcelona.
Ralph has been steadily building his name making excellent music in his own style that is formed on the dancefloor, for the dancefloor, and with his house head sensibility from the dance floors of New York’s club land where he formed his taste for house. He had phenomenal years in 2023 & 2024 and took his talents to some of the most respected house labels with both original EP’s and remixes. Labels like the infamous Nervous Records, Large music, Jimpster’s Freerange, Local Talk, Razor n Tape, Faith, Groove Culture & Moulton Music amongst many, many others and now making his Bedfunk debut. And now, Ralph has been drafted in on remix duties, this producer really can do it all.

Pat & Ralph first met in New York, through label friend DJ Romain where they worked on some music together both in the US and then the UK.

Ralph chose to work his magic and remix the underground house hit My Life, first released over 20 years ago, then covered by Pat & Anna-Marie in 2022. Ralph’s aptly named future classic mix takes it up a level and flips this for the peak time to be a dance floor killer. Over the fresh New York style skippy beats, he layers chord stabs which drives the track and sets up the rolling bass that makes the crowds go wild. The remix moves along at a rate a knots, all the time Ralph adding all the production flare that have made him in such high demand. Drama, fills and spills make this sure to be a Future Classic mix.

Bedfunk has launched a slew of original music and introduced many fresh talents to the soulful House scene and will continue to do so into 2025, so we are really happy to kick off the year with some true New York Flavour.
