‘Affection’ is the exciting new second release from fledgling UK label Strictly Music.
Label boss Pat Bedau joins forces with Steve Gurley once again to deliver a dynamite slice of soulful house deliciously vocalled by Namibian native Shishani. ‘Affection’ also features a selection of tasty remixes including UK house maestro Guy Robin who injects bounce into the floor with a soulful garage vibe. Also representing Blighty’s soulful house scene in style is True2Life (Park Street) and debuting his remixing skills to full effect is Mellow Bee (son of famous jazz guitarist TJ Johnson), who at only 17 is truly destined for a great musical future! Moving further around the globe, South African production duo Alpha & Omega deliver a deep tech edged outing spiked with airy synth washes and topping off the release are Brooklyn’s The Playerz (aka DJ Romain & Vincenzo Siracusa) who heat up the floor with a mean jackin acid infected groove!
